Feminist means Not only "support for abortion" and "anti-patriarchy"
but also
increasing democratic participation for everyone
radical inclusion of everyone
de-hierarchification of all categories of difference
making education, health care, housing, infrastructure, transportation, childcare, clean water, community POSSIBLE for everyone (not just technically "accessible" but in practice inaccessible to some)
reciprocal relations
responsibility to others
being held accountable to our obligations
making amends when promises are broken, or when injury occurs.
Fixing things which are broken.
A self-correcting social structure, which adapts to changing conditions.
negotiating and re-negotiating consent through shifting conditions
which makes Feminist theories/approaches good frameworks for CHANGE, for navigating UNCERTAINTY, for testing NEW SYSTEMS which better serve peoples' changing needs.
